Some Recent Buys And A Boots Addiction.

I’ve abused Boots a lot this month. I actually would go as far to say I have a problem. Baby and I generally take a trip into town on Mondays and I just can’t help but have a nosey at what they have in. It’s just a place I can’t walk out of without something. So here’s another recent buys post.

Garnier Moisture Match (wake me up) – I’d seen these advertised and though, why not, we’ll give one a go. I’m glad I did! You really one need the amount the size of a pea and is distributes well across your face and neck and it really makes my skin WOW. I also bought the Protect an Glow one, which I have yet to try, while they were on offer in Boots.

Garnier Perfect Blur – I saw this an remembered reading on Twitter that Miss Una (from The Saturdays) used this. I was quite intrigued to know if it would work, as I do have fine lines, plus my crows feet aren’t disappearing on their own. It’s very much the consistency of a primer. I can’t say I’ve noticed a difference and to be honest, I don’t really get on with primers anyway.

L’Oreal Sublime Bronze – I’ve really been on a mission lately to get a tan, without burning and being the colour of a lobster. But I just can’t find a product that doesn’t turn me orange! L’Oreal was no exception. Come on guys, help a paley out!!!

Eylure Pre-Glued Lashes – Well, I have yet to try these, but I am a step closer to popping my false lashes cherry. I picked these purely because they’re pre-glued, as the  thought of gluing my fingers together scares me!

Olay CC Cream – I’m not really clued up on the BB and CC and whatever else there is out there, but during a bbloggers chat one Sunday and talking tinted moisturisers I saw Laura from GeektoChicBlog had done a review on this, saw when I saw it on offer in Boots I had high hopes, and it hasn’t failed me. It’s an amazing texture and coverage. I highly recommend.

Maybelline Colossal 100% Black Mascara –  I flippin’ love this mascara. Even the others in the colossal range don’t match this one. It really does what it says on the tin. That is all.

Maybelline Cream Blush 01 – So, I jumped on the cream blush band wagon. I haven’t quite worked out hoe to apply it, but, I love the shade.

Topshop Printed Trousers – I finally gave in to my printed trouser urge and bought some, not only that, but I’ve kept them as they actually look ok! I saw a girl in Topshop wearing them the other day with sandals and a nice top, so I might try that look too, as I had just bought them to wear dressy.

Topshop Drape Top – I bought this top in grey ages ago. It wasn’t until I saw Laura from buynowbloglater in this post wearing it in white, that I was like ‘I need that!’. It such a lovely floaty top.

Topshop Black Maxi Dress
I’ve generally stayed away from the likes of Topshop and River Island for maxi dresses as they always seem to be for REALLY tall people. However, I was feeling brave and took the plunge and bought this one and when I tried it on at home, it fit fine. I chose black as it’s easy to style, plus I’m still cautious of my pre pregnancy curves.

Next Jeans – I bought a pair of their Relaxed skinny jeans and a pair of their normal skinny jeans. I’m actually quite loving Next jeans. Slightly cheaper than Topshop, but still great quality.

Topshop White Parka – I saw this in the sale, while ‘browsing’ and just had to have it. I’m turning into such a white freak. haha.
