My Recent Buys, Including Yankee Candles.

Looking at it this way, I’ve actually had a spending spree this month. I think it’s a counter-reaction to not buying clothes! Well, that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!

Beauty.

Phyto Gloss in Chocolate and Kerastase Age Recharge hair mask.

These were internet purchase. The Phyto I thought was intriguing when I read a review on another blog. I’ve never been one to dye my hair myself, but I thought this would help get through the last couple of weeks before my next appointment, as my colour seems to fade lots.

The Kerastase everyone seems to have tried and rave about. I chose the Age Recharge as my hairs thinning, shall we say, after pregnancy (which is normal apparently), plus my hairs fine as it is and has been through a lifetime of colouring, so thought it could do with some help.

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic and New Limited Edition Grapefruit and Pac Cleaners.
The tonic is a regular rebuy. I love this stuff. After the cleanser it’s like the icing on the cake. Just making your skin feel that little bit more fresh and clean.
I got an email about this limited edition cleanser and just had to try it. It sounds amazing and I’m sure, knowing the ladies at Liz Earle, it will be!

Essie Polish in , Olay Total Effects 7 Night Firming Moisturiser, Burt’s Bees Lip Balm and Bourjois Liquid Eye Liner in Gold.
I thought I needed some new AW polishes so looked at Essies’ new collection and really liked the look of a couple. Sadly, my local Boots isn’t the best and stock was low and this particular one was all they had left, which is ok, as it was one I wanted to try.
Now I have a pretty good morning skincare routine going, I thought I’d add in a night moisturiser. My mum always liked Olay and the ‘firming’ part would be great as I get closer to 30!
The lip balm was a good buy, I tried this as soon as I walked out and it’s great! It feels like little Bees are pricking my lips, it’s a weird sensation and I’ve promised myself to take better care of my lips this AW.
The Bourjois eyeliner was a, ‘it’s in the sale why not’, purchase. I thought it would be quite nice to try for the coming festive season. We’ll see how that works out! haha

Bourjois Shadow & Light Eye Liner andBourjois Shine Edition in Mauve Tabloid.
Both these purchases are out of my comfort zone. But I wanted to try.
The eyeliner I bought more for the light/white end. I’ve seen so many people use a white liner in videos and it always looks so good.
The lipstick I just loved. I love the shimmer and that it’s not too bold.

Fashion.

Casio Watch.

I found this watch by accident, no truly I did, I’d already set my sights on a white Michael Kors baby. But then this, this was too retro not to buy.

Lifestyle.

Yankee Candle Wax Tart Burner.

This has been sat in my eBay ‘watch list’ for so long. This month though I decided it was time. It’s such a beautiful burner.

Yankee Candle in Spiced Orange.

I didn’t think I was going to like this when I saw it appear in Clinton Cards. But I do. It’s a lovely smell, that will be great to burn during those dark nights.

Yankee Wax Tart in Candy Corn and Yankee Candle in Fireside Treats.

I bought both these Yankee goodies from an eBay shop called the onestopyankeeshop. They have a great selection at brill prices.

I can’t wait for Halloween to burn this tart on my new burner!
