My Little Box The Diane Von Fustenberg Edition.

22nd October 2014crelgey

After my Glossybox days as a new blogger, I’ve deliberated over many new boxes that I’ve read about and come across, but I always take myself back to my Glossybox days and my reasons for cancelling my subscription.

My Little Box.

Recently, I read about MY LITTLE BOX a French-based monthly subscription box company. Their boxes have a theme each month and feature must-have beauty products, including one from their very own range, fashion and lifestyle accessories, their own magazine, illustrated items and any other little goodies they pop in for you. There also didn’t seem to be many reviews from other bloggers around, so thought, why not.

My first impression of this box was the presentation and attention to detail. The illustration and style of the box and included information is so cute and fun. Inside the box, the printed ribbon tying up the magazine, information sheets etc and the products underneath was a great touch.

I was also happily shocked, by how little/few items there were inside. It’s nice to think that I’ll actually use these products, rather than having so many that I end up passing them onto friends.

I’ve been a real fan of the L’Oreal Micellar Water. I know it hasn’t been to everyone’s liking, so I was quite happy to find this in my box to try. Especially with it being their own brand.

Admittedly, I have a pot of Kerastase hair masque in my cupboard that I have yet to try out! But I’ve heard nothing but good things, so expect that this hairspray will be just as good. I don’t actually use hairspray that often, mostly to tame fly-aways when I’ve actually had the time to do my hair for a night out.

I may have to pass this item on. Not in a snobby or ungrateful way, just because my hands are really sensitive to creams. Even E45 can bring me out in a rash. I’m quite sad about this, as, L’Occitane is a brand I have yet to try and again, I’ve heard and read nothing but good things.

This scarf with definitely be making many appearances on the blog in coming weeks. I love that on the inside of the presentation box it came in there were illustrations as to how to how you can wear and use the scarf! I’ll be trying them all out.

Lastly, but by no means least, was this amazing pin. I have to admit I wasn’t sure at first what it was. But, it will take pride of place on my jumpers over the coming colder months. It’s a lovely gesture from an amazing lady.

Are you signed up to any boxes? What are you loving?

I just received my first Little Box, loved the attention to detail too. Can't wait to get the next one! I think the box itself will be really handy for storing things too. Nearly lost my scarf in the wind yesterday, had to chase it down the street! 🙂
