LIFE: November Life.

So, that was November.

I eat and drank at a few new places this month. With Christmas a month away, November is the month for mummy/get togethers with friends, before the madness commences and money is nothing but the copper left in the corners of your purse.

THE PLOUGH, Scalby, Scarborough has been on my list to visit since it’s reopening, so was happy to finally visit for an evening meal. I’m planning a full blog post in the new year. My second new visit for an evening meal was to LOVE BREW CAFE, Scarborough. A small cafe found enroute to the beach, but is a great find for unbelievably yummy homemade cakes and the the owner and staff are nothing but friendly and welcoming. I also popped into our new town centre coffee shop YAY COFFEE, Scarborough. Ideally placed and a little hidden, but don;t be put off. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I can imagine this shop being heaven to anyone that does. Well worth a drop in.

I’m quite poor at beauty/hair top ups, I’m not booked in every month for a ‘pampering’. But this month has seen me have a hair appointment (much needed I may add) and my eyebrows tinted (which I always leave to the very last minute!) so I’ve been feeling super girly.

I’ve also had some time to catch up with friends, toddler free, over cups of (warm) tea, which is always refreshing.

Can’t say I took FULL advantage of ‘Black Friday’. I bought a couple of dresses, which are still to be delivered, that knowing my luck with dresses will end up being returned. I did however, after a being influenced by a blogger or two, buy a Magnitone. My skin is having a midlife crisis and I’ve been lusting over a Clarisonic thinking it’s the answer to all my prayers, but after doing some research and seeing some tweets, I made the most of Magnitone’s Black Friday offer and purchased one. So, once here, I’m expecting miracles.

Towards the end of the year I always see myself planning little goals and things I want to happen in the following year and I have many for this little space. I really feel that I’ve sunk my teeth into and started to like blogging this last year and want to continue and grow this into the coming year(s). So wheels and ideas are in motion for a few little tweeks and new features. Plus hopefully, this time next year I’ll be able to say I know how to use my camera.
