Back to the lane, as you see. Some farmer decided to tend to his farm and had opened his barn/garage door. How very dare he. He obviously forgot it’s mine on Sundays.. However, I think this outfit kind of works here, but that doesn’t excuse him.
Oh Primark. You may be a like a rummage sale, but it’s sometimes oh so worth it. You can’t actually tell from these pictures, which is just a poor performance, sack the stylist and photographer, but these shirts have a paperboy type waist with a tie into a ribbon. I loved them for this as soon as I spotted them, as they reminded me of a pair of shorts that are probably still out of stock from ASOS I think it was that Lydia Millen had posted about a fair few months ago which I loved.
I teamed the shorts with the tie cami, from Primark also, as I wanted to show it and thought it just worked. However, as I saw, downfall is you can’t see the detail of the shorts.. But moving on..
The cargo-like shorts are great. I’m not normally a shorts person. As you’ll know by now, I’m not an anything but jeans person. But, in all honesty, I struggle with shorts. In finding the right length. Not to short that I’m showing some of my rear, however not too long that I loose of proportions. These however, are just right.
The gold button detail and paper bag like waist allow these, I think, to be styled up or down. I’ve added my favourable clutch and Next wedges to take this outfit from day walks to evening drinks.
