Holding On To Summer.

16th September 2016crelgey

I know were not far from Autumn now and I do love the colder months for wrapping up with oversized knits and looking like an abominable snowman, but I’ve kind of enjoyed getting my tan on when the sun has decided to show it face and to be honest because I feel quite cheated that we haven’t had a summery summer, I’m not quite ready for it to be over yet..

!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p, cb; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); e.id = id; cb = new Date().getTime().toString(); p = ‘//shopsensewidget.shopstyle.com/widget-script.js?cb=1474003184359?cb=’ + cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === ‘object’){ if(doc.readyState === ‘complete’){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, ‘script’, ‘shopsensewidget-script’);

I haven’t worn these white jeans half as much as I had anticipated a few months ago. However, my Havaianas on the other hand have/still are/will be continued to be worn for a little while yet. After replacing my first pair last year, I can’t think of buying any different ones. I love the bronze colour and they are so comfy. I grew up seeing my mum live in flip-flops and never really liked the toe post, however as I’ve got older, I seem to have grown into them.

How amazing is this La Redoute Fringe Suede Backpack*!? This is so perfect I don’t have the words. It’s such great quality, the fringe is a lovely detail and it’s so roomy. It’s been a perfect toddler day out companion one the summer holidays and will easily get more use over months to come.

    This is such a great way to wear double denim – I've wanted a denim shirt for ages but wasn't sure what to team it with – I never thought of pairing them with my white jeans! (Also I now want that New Look cami top – I love the lace detailing on it).

      Agree Laura. I've been quite cautious of double denim, but I liked how the different colours worked for me. 🙂 x

    Amazing outfit! I feel the exact same about this summer- it's definitely not been warm enough and I'm not ready for the cold. Would love if you could check out my new post? XX

    I love the double denim, I don't I could pull off two pieces in the same shade so this is a great alternative! I still need to use my backpack but haven't had the opportunity to yet.

      I just don't feel like we've had a summer.. We've had great days though. 🙂 Flipflops have now definitely gone away.. sadly. 🙁 x

    Loving the double denim! The lace detailing on your top is so cute, i think I might have to buy it myself! I'm really looking forward to Autumn now, already getting carried away with buying lot's of cosy knits! xo
