So yes, I spent an afternoon/evening through in Leeds at The Bloggers Blog Awards, created and hosted by the amazing Hayley. This is the second year it’s run, I believe and it was incredible to think that Hayley organised it all in her own time, alongside her job and blog. That’s pure dedication to an awards that really is a breathe of fresh air in the blogging community. As bloggers success is generally judged by magazine ‘blog awards’, which is quite a contradiction since is such magazines that have ‘issues’ with bloggers. But any who.

It was a great event, held at Canal Mills, which, to those that don’t know, is an amazing warehouse space, with holds events, weddings and raves, I’m told. Lovely as ever to see some familiar faces, even nicer to meet some new ones and but blogs to names but more so to find so many new blogs to read. The evening was finished off with with a truly incredible raffle Hayley had put together, but sadly, it wasn’t my day.

Now my outfit. I love these trousers and do you know what, I honestly think I could team them with most colours. I’d only worn this lovely embellished neck top once before, so thought it was due an outing. I finished the outfit with my new favourite heels, these Zara basics and my quilted Zara bag, plus the bargain that is my 99p eBay shoe lace necklace.

Rachel kindly took the photos for me and we were a little unsure of this black and white background (in the toilets of all places!) but I love it and think we got some good shots and you know me, I love a brick wall!
