Layering For Spring Makes Me Happy.

layering for spring

Layering for Spring is set to become my thing. It’s a great way of transitioning from the chunky jumpers and thick coats of Autumn/Winter, to thinner, lighter pieces of Spring/Summer. Plus, as I’ve previously mentioned, I’m forever cold, so therefore, with layering in mind, I can choose to take off, or put back on.

With Spring really showing it’s face these last couple of weeks, it’s really got me excited for the warmer months. Not just for strappy cami season, and endless beach days, but for the vitamin D! I’m feeling and looking a tad pale and although that’s completely natural/normal/safe. A bit of colour wouldn’t go amiss. I recently purchased Fake Bake’s sport daily tan. Granted I’m not ‘sporty’, but it’s a gradual tan with the bonus of added ingredients such as green tea to help look after your skin. It was a no-brainer for me as my skin needs all the moisture it can get.

Back to this layering for spring look. Primark you influencer you! I’m just going to cut straight to the details – these boots were £6! Yes, six whole English pounds and they are perfect in every Caroline way. Pointed. Check. Gold trim. Check. Low heel. Check. Brown (yeah not khaki, but brown). Check anyways. And a bonus check that they are comfy as hell.

Granted I hadn’t gone in store to purposely buy these boots. They were one of those purchases that just finds you. That you then can’t leave without. Especially when they have your size. – Justification over.

I may be ‘late to the party’ on the backpack wagon, but this fringed beauty has been going with me a lot recently. It was a gift from the lovely people at La Redoute last year and it will definitely be going on more adventures over the warmer months.

Have you been layering? – Do you plan too? – Are you looking forward to the warmer months?
