Spring Summer Outfit Preparing With Apricot.
As with last weeks post on layering, here’s another on looking forward to the warmer months with a Spring Summer outfit and my arms out. This is probably the most laid-back outfit I’ve posted in a while. More so because I’m wearing trainers and not with gym wear. Who am I!? Plus I’m not going to lie, it was quite a thrown together outfit, which I feel, actually turned out OK in the long run.
I’ve wanted to add a checked shirt to my wardrobe for sometime. However, it’s one of those ‘trends’ that I’ve been unsure whether I could pull it off without looking like an actual lumberjack. I have quite broad shoulders and some patterns and also styles of tops can draw attention to it, which I don’t really like.
However, I fell in all kinds of lumberjack and check colour love after seeing this Apricot shirt in their new Spring/Summer collection. I like a dipped hem and just loved that the fabric isn’t the heavy cotton of normal shirts. It’s light, airy and a little (hence the vest top underneath) see through. But come warmer months, I think a bralette would surfice undeneath.
Expect to see my Nike Air Max a little more. They are quite a pride and joy of mine. They’re white. All white. And have stayed that way for a while. However, they are, even though some my class them as ‘chavy’ , THE most COMFIEST trainers I have ever owned. Plus, I feel like give me a bit of height. I’m 5ft 4. A little help goes a long way. Also, least with Spring Summer outfit they can’t get dirty. Maybe sandy.
Lastly, anyone else feeling my dark lip? I am definitely not a beauty blogger and am fully aware that we’re heading into Summer, so I’m guessing more peachy tones are en route, but I’m thinking this dark lip has worked this time. Having tried it previously and not felt ‘right’ with it.
