Why do I do it to myself. Why do I put myself on a clothing spending ban and then feel a wish list is a good idea?! And a Summer wish list at that! However, above are some pieces that have stayed in my (many) online baskets over some time now. You know the deal.. You do some online browsing, things go in your basket, then that dark angel of common sense reminds you that it’s probably not a good idea to ‘checkout’. So they stay there. You know.. Just in case. This actually works in my favour, you may do similar, as I find sometimes it has prevented many orders being placed for items that I’ve not really been 100% about. Fast-fashion comes to mind. Though I wouldn’t class many of the items above as fast fashion – there’s no tie sleeves, bell sleeves (eating dinner fail?) or ruffles (Ok, there’s a little, but not extreme.)
I do admit to liking some trends that fly in over the seasons. However, I’m becoming more and more conscious of making purchases that are a little longer with standing. I’m still all about monochrome and my love of khaki will never fade. I like basics. That’s what I feel resinates through this wish list and hopefully my wardrobe.
The possibility of those Zara flats and a striped jumper ending up in my wardrobe and in an outfit post soon is pretty high, I’m not going to lie.
