Sunday Lunch At Wrangham House, Hunmanby, Scarborough.
Wrangham House, Hunmanby, Scarborough, is 10 miles from Scarborough in a village called Hunmanby. Here, you’ll also find Piebald Inn. However, this post is a review on Wrangham House and their amazing traditional Sunday Lunch.

I’m not normally a starter orderer, preferring to save our space for the main meal/expensive part and if there is space afterwards, then a portion of sticky toffee pudding is generally consumed. However, on this occasion, we decided to indulge. Choosing the good traditional Sunday lunch starter of Prawn Cocktail, and Parma Ham and Melon on a bed of crisp salad.
Both starters were amazingly presented and looked and tasted just as good. The portion size of the Prawn Cocktail alone was a shock, as it was packed with prawns when a lot of places aren’t as generous.
Choosing the Roast Sirloin of Beef, we were not disappointed. As always, it was nice to see that our plates arrived with just the meat, Yorkshire pudding and gravy. And good slices at that! The seasonal vegetables and roasties came separately. The beef was perfectly cooked and the gravy was rich and more home-cooked tasting than some places.
Thoroughly and happily full, desert was NOT an option. However, I was able to snap this picture of the sticky toffee pudding that could of been, you know, to just tease myself and you, but to also, not that I need one, but give me a reason to return to Wrangham House, Scarborough.

That roast beef looks TO DIE FOR! I’m usually a starters, main & desert person. That’s just because I’m greedy. HAHA!

A god sunday roast takes some beating, and that one looks marvellous! The beef,… perfection!
Id be disappointed if I didn’t manage a dessert too (but doesn’t happen very often!)

Look at those Yorkshire Puddings!!! This looks incredible. We tend to go to our local if we’re going out for a Sunday roast, I think we may need to explore further afield.
