Bloggers To Watch.
I reached a sort of pinnacle in the latter part of twenty seventeen, after taking a mini hiatus and a very blase approach to my site and blogging in general. Popping back onto my socials and checking Bloglovin to see what everyone had been/was up to and gain some inspiration, it became apparent to me that I’d lost my way.
Heading into twenty-eighteen – older, pregnant for the second time and really feeling wiser, I felt I wanted to make sure that my channels, mind and time would be taken up with those that I truly loved. Those who are my friends. Those that inspire me with their words, photography, style, individuality. Those who know their worth, but also know that everyone else is human also.
So here’s a little round-up of those ladies who I will be following and believe are bloggers to watch this year, and hopefully learning from this coming year.
QUEEN BEADY is fabulously and honestly written by Bee. It is a mixture of life and personal musings. The most enviable outfit shots and travel diaries. Bee really has a passion for her photography and if you love it as much as I do, head over to her Instagram. WOW.
Bee really is one of the loveliest ladies I know. She truly has a heart of gold. She is someone I definitely do not see or connect with enough. The last year may have been a bit of a struggle, but this woman dusted herself off and came back and owned it and won an award! Plus, I cannot wait to see and support her at Icelolly’s Blog At The Beach this month, where she will be a guest speaker! Twenty eighteen is sure to be one hell of a year for her.
Apartment Number 4.
Where to start with APARTMENT NUMBER 4 and it’s beautiful writer Victoria. Apartment Number 4 is the mecca for all your interior dreams and inspiration. Plus the best part of it being affordable. Alongside the swoon-worthy interiors and photography, Victoria also adds some thought-provoking personal posts into the mix for good measure.
Victoria is someone I finally had the pleasure of meeting in real life last year, having followed each other and passed each other at events for some time. She is such an inspiration and a delight to speak to, both in person and online. Definitely, another lady that I hope to see more of in twenty-eighteen. This last year has seen her site go from strength to strength, winning awards that she and it so rightly deserve, but also, as Victoria herself has said – this last year has been a year of growth, personally. Which in no doubt is what has contributed to her sites success and beyond. She is a woman in charge of her own destiny and I cannot wait to see what she accomplishes this coming year.
Hannah, and her site, appropriately named HANNAH GALE is one I only came across last year, having been present at an event where she was guest speaking. It was a lovely change to see and speak to the person before reading the blog. Her site really is a true honest reflection of the person she is. Her writing style alone is something that you can’t help but love. True. honest. Sometimes a ramble. It is whatever she feels at the time and that is something that I, and I’m sure many, wish their own words come across as.
Hannah Gale is a site of those personal musings and thoughts, with her ever-popular numbered lists, to fabulous – even whilst pregnant (so envious!) outfit and fashion related posts to recent pregnancy updates and so much more. No post is the same and that is why I love reading and seeing what’s been happening in wold Hannah Gale. Twenty eighteen is sure to be an amazing year for her and I cannot wait to see and read all about baby gale.
The Little Plum.
Chloe, writer of THE LITTLE PLUM was a recent find through reading Hannah Gale. However, looking back over The Little Plum, I do think it’s a site I’ve read in the past, but definitely, one that’s now an easy go-to. There’s also a similar writing style to that of Hannah – that, write as you think style, that makes you say ‘YES!’ at your computer screen. (that can’t be just me!) You can totally see how and why these two ladies get on. And long may it continue.
The Little Plum is a site full of enviable outfit shots. It is street photography at it’s most perfect. Something I personally can only dream of achieving. Chloe’s style is something I resonate with the most. The laid-back, comfy style, more so over the cooler months, is something that I hope to bring into my own style in twenty-eighteen. Be more willing to experiment, with styles.
The Anna Edit.
Now, THE ANNA EDIT is a site that I’ve followed for some time, but up until this latter part of last year, I’d not really ‘read’ much from it – embarrassingly. However, one post lead me to another and as you know, it’s easy to get sucked into the whole that is someone’s site or page. I believe it’s the sign of a good site/channel. It was though, Anna’s style and outfits that I really homed in on. Now, The Anna Edit definitely has a luxury feel to it, this lady has impeccable taste, we’re not talking Topshop and ASOS. However, looking at the bigger picture, that’s not to say that inspiration can’t be taken from her outfits and posts. Anna’s capsule wardrobe posts are very thought-provoking.
The Anna Edit has varied content, from beauty and home to fitness-related content. With beautifully bright and light photography that really gives it that clean feel.
A few others.
There are of course a number of other ladies whom I totally adore and would not be without.
The likes of Lizi – Glasses Girl who’s witty honest writing, solo adventures and ease of selfie-taking is something that I’m in awe of daily.
With thanks to Victoria, I will forever be crushing on Ashley Brooke, you can find her on Instagram, but her YouTube is the best. She really is some woman. Beautiful, talented, strong, hardworking and her style is just me. She loves a good pair of jeans and come five months (post-baby) I will definitely be rocking jeans and a shirt, amongst other things, just maybe not as well as her.
Jen, who writes at The Sustainable Edit is a true advocate and success story of being able to curb an addiction to fast fashion. Beginning with a capsule wardrobe, Jen then moved to minimalist living and more recently the ethical side of fashion. Her content is such easy reading, but so very thought-provoking, giving you many feels of being more aware.
So there are my bloggers to watch this coming year. My personal list of course.
Do you currently follow any of these ladies? Or have I introduced you to some new reads? – I hope so.
Pin For later.
