SUN DAY FEELS. ▪︎It may not have been the birt SUN DAY FEELS. ▪︎It may not have been the birthday I'd planned for the youngest, but thankfully he's of an age where he knows no different and is content enough with bubbles, some new toys and a Thomas cake. ▪︎Today, also marking the beginning of a new month, has allowed me to put in to practice my new mind sets, plans and goals. I'm really enjoying listening to audiobooks and podcasts right now. ▪︎Lastly, my self education isn't to be limited to in relation to my blog. I have a duty to myself, my boys and future generations to learn more and to stand, as I already do, with POC because #blacklivesmatter and what is continuing to happen isn't OK. LISTEN ▪︎This last week we've seen a sense of LISTEN ▪︎This last week we've seen a sense of 'normality' resume and although my personal views and worries haven't changed or lifted in the last ten weeks, I have felt a lot more settled this last week. ▪︎So much so that I've put some wheels in motion and decided to get back on track with not just my blog, updating it and taking it where I can, but also investing in myself. But ultimately, we all are and as a country and race, we will. ▪︎I wrote about some Scarborough independent businesses on my blog today. About how they, along with many others, not just in Scarborough but the country, are adapting their businesses to keep their dreams alive, as well as their livelihood. ▪︎It's also been truly heartwarming to see thr community spirit that has prevailed and arisen from the pandemic. With no real plans (I actually took some joy out of tipexing out many plans in the last 5 weeks and into the next 3) I haven't looked and or used my diary nearly half as much... apart from adding when our Asda delivery is coming. This beautiful set from @bedsurehome is perfectly patterned and coloured to work in my white and grey themed bedroom. And as random as this may come across, unlike most bedding that has buttons or poppers, this actually has a zip! A zip! I can't tell you the ease. ▪︎On another note.
